๐ฆ crabbounce ๐ฆ
Crabs have always wanted to experience the life of the trampoline without their claws getting in the way. Help them bounce by drawing trampolines to keep them in the air!
๐ฆ This game was made for the Trijam #377 - a 3 hour game jam! ๐ฆ
๐พ Gameplay Overview ๐พ
- Click, hold and drag to create trampolines! You can have multiple on the screen at once! This game works on mobile too, you can use touch as well ๐ฒ
- 3 Crabs in the ocean, and you're out! ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ฆ
- Trampolines can't be stretched too long! Green is good and red is bad. When it is drawn in red and it will disappear on release ๐จ
- Your main trampoline stock is 3 but more crabs = more trampoline stock ๐
- The bottom trampoline does not last forever. Beware! ๐ซฅ
๐ Other things ๐ฝ๏ธ
- This was a 3 hour project, while there has been some code refactoring afterwards it still a mess!
- Art was rushed in Aseprite by myself, thanks to the jumble tool and shapes for a quick background
- Free use font is Upheaval TT, re-used as it was the only font I had due to lack of time
- Future hopes: more time for better art, music, more code cleanup, better UI, tutorial
- Boing sound effect from: Pixabay
This game was inspired by a Mario DS minigame if you know you know ๐

Awesome game, love the art, GREAT mario reference I loved this game growing up. The only change i would do is instead of coloring the lines red and deleting it afterwards, set a maximum(I lost so much because of that...).
Will definitely write that one down for future! Appreciate the feedback!
Cool, (W mario reference, the nostalgia hit hard), I only wish that the crabs would spend less time off screen and that they would be a little bit slower. ๐ฆ I only got 20 high score :(
Definitely looking into tuning the difficulty and bounce, thanks for playing!
